These were taken at a summer kickoff swim party at the Twaddells house. Chase ran around the entire time and barely stopped to eat. We brought blueberry cobbler with blueberries that we picked at the berry patch the day before. It was so good!

Caden and Cole spent most of their time in the pool playing basketball and diving. Chase liked to swim but couldnt stay in one place for more than a few minutes because thats his nature. Chase liked the zipline the best and was so proud that he was big enough to ride on it.

Finally a new post!

ive decided that id better update my blog. Ill try to be better about updating for 2010. Ill start with some of my favorite pictures from the snowfall. The boys had such a wonderful day. It happened on the perfect day because the kids were out of school for teacher inservice and i was wondering what i was going to do to keep them busy and God answered my prayer and gave us snow! They played with a bunch of the neighbor kids and came in and had hot chocolate and soup.

We went to Angies on Saturday for a wonderful brunch playdate with our friends. Chase was in LOVE with this mustang. I think he needs to improve his driving skills before he gets his own.

It was unbelievably windy and cold but Desiree and I already had the kids dressed and ready to go so we decided to give it a try. This is the field in Plano on Spring Creek and Custer.

These turned out okay but Chase is too much like his mama and hates to be cold so hes crabby in most of them. I think Im going to stop and take some on the way home from getting our family spring photos done with Chera on Saturday so I can get some with all 3 kids.

We survived Spring Break!!

These pictures were taken at a dairy farm in Plano called lucky layla farms. They do tours so we went with a group of moms and the kids had the best time. They both loved the baby calves the best. They were so cute. The yogurt and cheese are so good there. I think we will be going back for more soon.

We had a much better week than I expected it to be other than my extreme tooth pain ending in a root canal at the end of the week. We kept pretty busy and the week went by fairly quickly. We went to the park a lot and the weather couldnt have been more beautiful.

On Saturday we got to take the boys to an early screening of Monsters vs Aliens in 3D and they loved it. We left Chase home with Maran and she must have worn him out because he fell asleep in his highchair at lunch.

Cadens karate belt testing

Caden is doing really well at karate and he enjoys it too. He goes every Tues and Thurs night. He tested to move up another belt level already. We wont know how far hes advanced until the ceremony on Thursday night.

Chases birthday

He was so excited to wake up and see presents to open! Then we got ready to go meet his friends for his party. We did a joint party with his friend James who was born March 6th too because almost his whole playgroup had a birthday this week. It was one crazy weekend.

Each guest kissed a heart and put it inside of their own bear and then they kissed another heart to put inside chase and james' bears.

This was the funniest thing ive seen in a long time. He was table dancing on the dressing table. It was hilarious to watch. I wish i would have had the video camera.

Chase and James Bear cakes that my friend Jen made with her super cool williams and sonoma bear pan. They turned out awesome and tasted just as good as they look. Darn her...i was hoping they would be dry and yucky so i wouldnt feel compelled to eat more of it.

After cake we took them to play in the playland for awhile and he fell asleep on the way home. After he woke up he saw the presents from his friends.

Opening presents! He loved everything so much and had a great afternoon playing with all his new toys. He got lots of trucks, clothes,garden tools, a vacuum with a dust buster inside!!, little people stuff and a really cool light spinner toy.

Then we went to the Galleria Westin to pick up Bryans cousin Amy who was in town for a plastic surgery class and we got to celebrate Chases birthday with her at May Dragon. It was wonderful to get to see her.
